Art Made of Plastic Bottle Caps?!

Mary Ellen Croteau is an American artist that makes art in an unbelievable way. Her art works are made by the simple plastic bottle cap that is found on drinking bottles, shampoo bottles, medicine bottles, or any other item that has a plastic lid on it. She collects these unwanted lids and transforms them into amazing art works that seem to be almost impossible to make with simple objects such as these.

Her art works have meaning to them. Her works allows the viewers to see that she is trying to explain to them that our culture is based on ridiculous opinions and assumptions, and that is not how it is supposed to be. Her particular art work is clearly done with a sustainable fashion with the process of making fabulous pieces out of plastic bottle caps. I rate this artist a 4/5.
